The International Strategic Communication Summit 2026, held under the theme “Disruption in the International System: Crises, Narratives, and Search for Order,” convenes at a time of visible strain and structural fragmentation in the international order. We have been invited to Istanbul to speak about our unique media project, Hungary Today and its sister site, Ungarn Heute, and to present our vision regarding the role of Artificial Intelligence in news publishing.

The current disruption reflects not only geopolitical and economic transformation, but also an expanding arena of narrative competition. As concepts such as security, justice, and order are being redefined, the narratives that resonate with global public opinion have become as influential as material capabilities.

Within this context, Stratcom Summit 2026 examines the evolving role of strategic communication in a period marked by crises and the search for order. By bringing together policymakers, experts, communication professionals, academics, civil society representatives, and think tanks, the Summit provides a platform to discuss how communication can contribute to resilience, coordination, and greater stability in the international system.
STRATCOM is an international communication platform organized by the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Directorate of Communications. Since 2021, it has brought together policymakers, academics, media professionals, and communication experts to discuss key issues shaping the field of strategic communication.
Through the STRATCOM Summit, thousands of participants and speakers from more than 50 countries have convened under different themes, addressing topics such as crisis communication, disinformation, public diplomacy, emerging technologies, media planning, and new media skills. The Summit has become a consistent meeting point for international dialogue and experience-sharing.
This year’s conference has commenced with a video message from the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and a live address by Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz.
