Coalition of the Willing meeting in Paris, France on 4 September 2025
The Hungarian government rejects Brussels’ latest war decision, which risks direct confrontation with Russia, and will continue to protect the population of our country from this, said Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, on Wednesday in Budapest.
The minister stated that at the meeting in Paris of the European countries belonging to the so-called Coalition of the Willing, a new decision had been made to continue the war in Ukraine, which creates the risk of direct confrontation with Russia.

he warned.
“However, we must unfortunately recognize that today’s policy and decision in Brussels is to wage war against Russia,” he continued.
