Fans of the mini-sculptor have something new to enjoy, because one statue has barely been unveiled, another is already here: a Khanty hunter carrying a deer he has shot over his shoulder.

The Khanty are an indigenous people of Russia who belong to the Ob-Ugric group and are distant relatives of Hungarians, with their closest relatives being the Mansi. They live in large numbers along the Ob River and engage in hunting, fishing, and gathering. Although today they follow the teachings of the Russian Orthodox Church, they often combine this with elements of their ancient shamanistic beliefs, in which reincarnation plays an important role. Incidentally, the word “Khanty” means “human” in their language.The statue of the Khanty hunter is located at the Buda end of the Rákóczi Bridge, near the Kopaszi Dam, standing on a large rock, We Love Budapest reported.

Guerrilla sculptor Mihály Kolodko placed his first miniature bronze statue depicting Főkukac (Boss Worm) from the iconic 1980s Hungarian cartoon, A nagy ho-ho-ho-horgász (The Great Angler), in the Hungarian capital in 2016. Since then, both adults and children have searched high and low for the miniature figures scattered all across Budapest.
