Tallin, Estonia
Wizz Air is adding two exciting northern European destinations to its Budapest network. Direct year-round flights will launch to Estonia’s capital, Tallinn, in December, and to the Danish city of Billund, home of the original LEGOLAND, in April.
Wizz Air will launch a new flight between Budapest and Tallinn on December 11. The airline’s planes will fly to the Estonian capital’s international airport three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
This is the first time that the Estonian capital has been included in Wizz Air’s Budapest network.
The city represents an exciting duality with its old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its fintech companies representing innovation and the future, modern architecture, and the unique atmosphere of the wooden houses in the Kalamaja district, turizmus.com writes, citing the budget airline’s statement.

Billund needs no introduction to Lego fans, who will be able to travel to the Danish city and, of course, LEGOLAND four times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays) starting April 2.

In addition to its adventure and theme parks, Southern Denmark is also worth visiting for its natural treasures and hiking trails.
Both flights will operate throughout the year, with tickets to Tallinn available from 10,190 forints (26.15 euros) and to Billund from 12,290 forints (31.55 euros) on the Wizz Air website and mobile app.
According to Wizz Air’s survey this year, northern destinations are becoming increasingly popular during the summer season: in three years, the number of passengers traveling north in the summer has increased nearly sevenfold, and their share of total traffic has quadrupled to just over 4 percent. Across the entire Wizz Air network, traffic to Copenhagen, Stockholm, Bergen, Trondheim, and ReykjavÃk increased by 44 percent between 2022 and 2024, they wrote.
