The commemoration was peaceful, with participants paying their respects with candles and flowers.
Charlie Kirk was shot on September 10 at an outdoor event at Utah Valley University, where approximately 3,000 people were listening to his speech. According to authorities, the shot was fired from the roof of a nearby building, and the bullet struck the conservative activist in the neck. The weapon was later found in a wooded area, with mocking inscriptions on the bullet casings.
Police suspect 22-year-old Tyler James Robinson of the murder, who is being tried on several charges, including aggravated murder and obstruction of justice, cbsnews.com reported.
